Now, just lie down and get some rest.'Daniel turned on the fan before leaving so Franzi would have some air on her face. Paula got home at 5:00 and saw Franzi on the couch. She closed the door gently and got to fixing dinner. Paula went by the market store and bought some spaghetti already cooked. She had it in a refrigerated container so all she had to do was put it back in some hot water and keep stirring. She got a four cheese pasta sauce and mixed in some dill weed. The aroma filled the flatshare fast.
Franzi started to awake at 6:17 when Paula was letting the water drain from the spaghetti. Franzi took one deep smell and knew dinner was almost ready.
Franzi was still lying down when she asked, 'Is anybody home and hungry?' Franzi looked at Paula in the kitchen and thought to herself, 'I am.' Then she got up and sat at the table.
Paula had the spaghetti in a giant bowl. It was almost like a scene from Walt Disney's "Lady and The Tramp". They even toyed a little with the long noodles.
Paula asked, 'How was your day; nice and quiet?'
Franzi answered, 'It was. I went outside for some time. Talked to Daniel.'
Paula asked, 'Did he say anything about work?'
Franzi said, 'Not exactly. I talked to a ghost and he just listened. He was totally supportive and he wants me to come back at my own pace with no rush and no worries.'
Paula said, 'Sounds like a reasonable ghost. You'll just go to him when you're ready to come back to work. And there's nothing he'd refuse you as he's more than proven in the past.'
Franzi agreed, 'Yes, we talked about that.' They didn't say anymore after that and Paula wasn't going to keep throwing 20 questions.
