A/N: I hope you all enjoy this story. It’s kind of a day by day thing. I don’t have this story written out so I’m basically free writing every chapter and editing as I go along.

“I can‘t believe Mom made us come back here! Made me come back to this school….knowing that “she“ is in the school! She knows I loathe her!”, she seethed slamming her locker shut, leaning her head against it.

“Well dude you have to get over your issues with “her“ because we‘re back here for good until we go off to college…” her brother replied calmly as he leaned against his locker.

“Whose side are you on A.J.?!” she groaned.

A.J. pushed off from the locker and threw his arm over her shoulder. “I’m on the side of logic sis.” “Which clearly says that if you get into it with “her” one more time you’re getting suspended then Mamá and Mom will probably- no definitely ground you.” “Which ultimately means that I’m getting grounded ‘cause you know I can’t let you go down alone.” he said as he led them down the hallway.

She sighed and nodded. “Tienes razón hermano.”, she said softly leaning her head against his shoulder.

He nodded in agreement. “Now that that’s settled, we need to hurry up and get to class B.J. before we both get detention and have to deal with…”

“The Finkle.” they both spoke simultaneously and visibly shuddered at the thought as they entered their class.

“Psssst…B.J.!” came the harsh whisper.

She jolted awake only to find brother glaring at her. He quickly smacked her over the head with the pen he was holding.

“What the hell dude?!” she exclaimed glaring at him only to be shushed by her sworn enemy. She turned around to reply but her brother quickly put his hand over her mouth.

“She is just trying to get a rise out of you. Don’t give her that kind of satisfaction. Hell don’t give her that kind of control over you hermana.” he whispered into her ear as he removed his hand.

She sighed knowing that he was right. “Ok…You’re right.” “But why in the hell did you hit me?” she asked as she turned around to face him.

“Cause you’re not paying attention!” he exclaimed.

“Mr. and Miss Perez-James. As nice as it is to have you both back in my class, I don’t take kindly to being interupted. So is there something that you want to share with the class?” the teacher asked, turning away from the blackboard to look at them.

They both sighed and hung their heads slightly before looking up to respond at the same time. “No Ms. Jennings.”

“Good, so I can suspect that you’ll both remain silent for the rest of the lecture.” she spoke in an even tone.

“Yes Ms. Jennings.” they both responded with a sigh.

She chuckled slightly at their looks. “Well lucky for you both my lecture is over and the bell should be…Ah right on time! Now I want you guys to study chapter 3 in your calculus books for homework. Any questions?”

The students shook their head and with a quick wave of her hand she dismissed them.

As everyone else piled out of the class B.J. and A.J. slowly made their way out and to their lockers. As they approached their lockers they saw a girl and guy standing in front of them. They couldn’t make them out from a distance but as they got closer wide smiles broke out across both of their faces they quickly jogged over to them grabbing them into tight hugs effectively interrupting their conversation and surprising them at the same time.

“Miranda!” B.J. nearly yelled as she hugged her friend “What the hell took you so long to get here?! You both missed first hour.”, she said as she moved to hug her best friend. She squeezed him extra tight. “I’ve missed you so freakin’ much Adam!” she said as they continued to hug.

“Gah! I missed you too!” he replied as he let her go.

B.J. moved to stand near her brother as Adam, though his friends refer to him as Ace, moved to stand beside his sister.

“Aw, well look at that. Ace and Mimo finally hit puberty”, she teasingly spoke as she took in the change images of her friends who looked nothing like they had the last time she’d seen them. Both had effectively grown a good 6 to 7 inches which made them both stand at an even 6 feet tall.

While Ace ducked his head blushing softly Miranda, Mimo as her friends called her, reached out and punched B.J. in the shoulder.
